Flaming Spirit Check-Out Procedure For all Camps
CHECKING OUT A CAMPER ON THE FINAL DAY OF CAMP:
- All camp dismissal times are posted at flamingspirit.com/2017-camp-schedule . Campers may not be checked out from camp on the last day prior to the posted dismissal time.
- When you arrive at camp to pick up your child, please proceed to the designated parent waiting area. It will be clearly marked for each camp session.
- When the camp session is dismissed the campers will be directed to you.
- Once you are reunited with your camper(s) please proceed to one of our check-out staff members. They will be located in a designated area holding clipboards.
- Our staff member will verify that you are listed on the camper’s registration form as an individual approved to check out the camper from camp. When verification is made, the camp wristband will be removed from the camper and you are free to load their gear and depart.
- If the person picking up the camper is not on the approved pick-up list from the camper’s registration form then they will be directed to the camp Gatekeeper or Dean to begin to contact parent/guardian for approval of pick-up.
- Once a parent/guardian has been contacted and approved the provisional pick-up, the camper’s wristband will be removed and their gear may be loaded, then be dismissed from camp.
- If a parent/guardian cannot be reached, or does not give approval for provisional pick-up, the camper will remain with the Gatekeeper/Dean until other arrangements are made.
- We understand this is a much different system than has been in place previously at Flaming Spirit Camp. Please know that this procedure is in place for the safety and protection of our campers and staff. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
